I recently got the NOMATIC Outset Jacket - Hoodie in Navy, size Medium, and I wanted to share my experience. As someone who travels quite a bit, I was looking for a jacket that was lightweight and versatile, and this one definitely fits the bill. It's incredibly lightweight, making it easy to pack and wear without feeling bulky. I've been caught in a few light rain showers since getting it, and I was impressed with how water-resistant it is – the water just beads right off. It also seems to resist stains pretty well, which is a huge plus for travel. Despite being lightweight, it's surprisingly warm and insulated, perfect for those cooler evenings or airplane cabins. I also appreciate that it's breathable, so I don't overheat when I'm on the go. The navy color is stylish and goes with everything. Overall, I'm really happy with the NOMATIC Outset Jacket - Hoodie. It's become my go-to jacket for travel and everyday wear, and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a lightweight, versatile, and comfortable jacket.

Bought during the Nomatic Black Friday sale, so I paid way less than retail, but I'd definitely buy this jacket again if something happened to it. Fair warning: believe the other reviews when they say it runs small. I'm 6'4, around 260 Lb. I started wearing XXL when I was 30 or 40 pounds heavier, and XXL are normally very, very big on me now. Despite that, the XXL of this jacket is very snug when zipped. It's definitely more of an XL than an XXL.Apart from that, it's a wonderful jacket for Florida weather. Anything above 50F is comfy, but I think anything below that would be pretty chilly, especially with wind. Not sure it'll be useful when summer hits, but it's more usable year-round than other jackets or hoodies.The thing that makes me love the jacket is the pockets. You can pack the entire thing into the left pocket to turn it into a pillow (surprisingly comfy for a short flight) which makes it super packable as well. Most useful, the left chest pocket is basically a giant admin pouch. I put an 11 inch iPad Pro in there for laughs and it fit (not comfy to walk around with, but you can do it). You could absolutely carry this jacket around and use it as a small sling bag substitute.

Not sure why this item is so expensive and never heard of this brand before. It is really lightweight, soft and comfy. The front pockets are large and zippered. Nice to have a hood, but for the price it should be waterproof. I doubt this thin jacket will keep me warm in 40 degree weather. And I do like the breathable armpits. This jacket is made in Vietnam.

This jacket is awesome! Just like every other Nomatic product, this Nomatic jacket is perfect. If you are searching for a jacket that uses high end material and one where every inch of the jacket is perfect then look no further. It is incredibly light but yet keeps you warm and dry. You can even turn it into a travel pillow which will come in handy for all of my road trips when I need to pull over for a quick nap. I highly recommend you purchase this jacket.

BLUF - This jacket is just not worth the price charged. I'll lay out my reasons...First, for the cost, I would have expected something high end...like perhaps Gore-Tex with a removable liner or some other high-end features. That was not what this is. I like the fact that it has a liner (not removable) but I know that you would need some sort of under layer in order to make this effective. Also, the outer layer might be "water resistant" but not for long. A bit of time in a sprinkle and you will be wet.The second problem I had was with the sizing. I wear a large. Period. I wear large sweatshirts, and I've ordered large coats from Amazon in the past and they have fit. Not this one. The large was...shall we say snug, and not comfortable at all. This is small for a large, made more frustrating by the cost, which is significant for what you get.So now we get to my BLUF - I wanted to like this jacket, I thought for the price it would be high end. It is not. 3 stars from me.

This is a comfortable lightweight jacket, but runs a little on the small size. I'm 5'9" (175.26 cm), 170 lbs (77.1107Kg) and with just a t-shirt underneath it feels snug. It might accommodate an additional sweatshirt but not much else. I've been wearing a size LARGE for decades and this is the snuggest "large" I've had on in a long time.I like the deep, zippered pockets, the water resistance (but not waterproof), the insulation and stylish look. In is surprisingly warm for the weight, comfortable at 40 degree Fahrenheit, a definite plus. While it is is is definitely wrinkle resistant, it is NOT 4-way stretchable as advertised. In fact, the polyester material doesn't stretch at all. It also has these weird openings at the wrist that I keep getting my hand stuck in when donning this jacket.At a fifth of the cost, I would probably recommend this jacket. Way overvalued. 3 stars

This lightweight jacket is great for travel. It packs very small and is easy to carry. It is good if you need something for cool evenings or mornings. Although water resistant, it is more appropriate for a light drizzle than for a deluge. The material is very soft and comfortable unlike the more rigid fabrics used in a lot of other outerwear. It feels quite breathable, which adds to the sensation of comfort. One important thing to note is that the sizes run small, so you may want to consider a size larger than you normally wear. The small is quite snug on me when zipped up and at 5 foot 6 inches, I am a not a larger person.
