The Step2 Lakewood Package Delivery Box is your one-stop shop for secure and weather-resistant package management. This delivery box, whether placed on your porch, entryway, driveway, or garage, protects your packages from theft and the elements. Your packages are safely deposited into a compartment accessible only with the two provided keys, enhancing the security of your packages, thanks to a robust internal spring-loaded baffle panel mechanism. This drop box's base can take ground anchors (not included) and can be weighted down by up to 100 lbs of dry sand for increased security. It's also designed to accept a tether if it's close to a secure tiedown point (tether not provided).

Although this is not 100% secure (reason why it did not get 5 stars-if someone is tall, they can reach in and grab things), it has worked out wonderfully. I have it secured to two T posts using long bolts and hooks, out by our main mail box, so it cannot “grow feet” and walk away. There’s been times that I have had 6-7 packages in it. We live down a very bumpy and dirt tech road so this is so helpful with our deliveries!

This container has paid for itself in more ways than one. It has held all of my packages. I haven’t lost one package. It’s been great. Best investment I ever made.

Very sturdy and easy to put together. The only 2 drawbacks are the sticky tape for the sign are not strong and not bolted at the top. I put in 2 "L" brackets to keep the top square so the cover doesn't pop off. Worked great.

I have this sitting on my front porch and secured it with two security cables and outdoor locks. You can also use sand in the base or put some weights in the base. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my packages will be secure from the dreaded porch pirates. I may give this as a gift to my kids so I'll know the things I send them will be secure.I appreciate that the design is something even I as a petite older woman was able to easily put together, move, and secure.
