Excellent product. More than worth a few extra dollars to get a superior product like this one. I hate purchasing things that are junk like some other receptacles listed. Square D is a premier company. Highly recommend.

Easy connections, works and built solid

I installed several of these several months ago and all has seemed fine until today when one of the GFCI outlets started clicking rapidly with nothing plugged into it or it's protected outlets and a strong electric odor filled the air. The circuit breaker tripped after a few seconds and I removed and took apart the outlet to find that the outlet had shorted and killed itself internally on the board. This was a very dangerous failure of a device designed to protect against this sort of issue.

There is no light that shows when the gfci is in the tripped position. Also the reset button does not stick out like other brands. Sometimes when the gfci trips it can be a bit difficult to tell. Apart from that I have had no problems.
