They don't actually fit the bike cleats they say they do. 2mm gap. They just fall off.

I was concerned about these being big and bulky and taking up too much space in a precious jersey pocket. Turns out they are thin and not bulky at all. They really don't take up much room at all. They do eliminate the cleat skate and keep those Speedplays clean.

Lightweight and easy to use, these cleat covers worked very well with my Speedplay cleats. They would have been very helpful this summer when several organized rides insisted on having water stops in sandy parking lots, or made me park my bike in a mulch bed. Because I didn't have these covers, my cleats became jammed and it took miles to clear the springs so I could reliably clip in

the sides do not cover up the cleat so sand/dirt could enter there which is an obvious oversite, otherwise they fit well and are nice & flexible.

They are light weight but they come off while walking. Every ten steps you take, you need to look back to make sure they are still on your shoes.

You have to keep your Speedplays clean and the easiest way to do that is to snap these on as soon as you step off the bike. I keep mine in a jersey pocket for easy access. You can get away with walking short distances on clean pavement but you should be especially diligent about putting on covers if walking in dirt or grass. Kool Kovers are durable and they go on easily but they do not fall off. I previously used SPD-L Kool Kovers and they worked fantastic too so I know the Kool Kover brand is really good. For less than $15 these things can't be beat.

I have used covers on my Look Keo cleats, so the notion of a cleat cover on the Speedplay was nothing out of the ordinary. These covers go on and come off with ease (easier, in fact, than with the Keos), but stay on as you walk - never had an issue with them coming off by themselves, whether walking on pavement, gravel, grass, up and down stairs, whatever.With the Speedplay, it is almost a requirement to have something on your shoe to help when you walk. And these are perfect, protecting the "cleat" as well.There is also a version (different manufacturer?) that stays on the shoe, even when you are riding. This wold not protect the cleat to the same extent, I would guess, but could be a simpler solution to prevent cleat skating, which is always a fun adventure.

I have Speedplay Light Action Cleats and these covers fit perfectly. Easy to put on and take off. Easy to walk in them and I have had no problem with them coming off on their own. I would definitely recommend these to others. I paid extra for quick delivery when I ordered them as I had an upcoming century ride I was doing and needed them pronto, I was not disappointed! Well worth the money in my opinion. I even put them on my wet, dirty cleats after the ride and had no problem at all.
