Not a good idea, didn’t work for me as I wish it would.

I use MTB shoes with recessed (old style) Ritchey Logic cleats. Walking on concrete creates a cringe-inducing crunching sound. These cleat covers solved that. Buy two pair, just in case one pops off. They work well and I would buy again.

Be careful to make sure they sit well when putting them on because they can fall out. I use these when walking on concrete because the metal cleats make that grinding noise without covers. They're holding up for me so far. Hope to get another few miles out of them before the rubber wears out.

Needed to replace an old pair of cleat covers from another mfr, but they were no longer available. These work at least as well. I can understand some people's complaints about durability, but it depends on one's use and expectations. For me, I use them to avoid the extra wear on the various floor finishes as I go from my condo to my garage. I am not using them to walk a couple of miles on pavement. They are made in Taiwan, which I appreciated.

Been using them for a week now, fit is good and have not fallen off. Easy to put on and remove.

I like how these fit over my SPD 2-bolt cleats and they are convenient to take on trips where I might be getting off the bike to go indoors for food, etc. But, they are not very thick -- I think they will wear out quickly, and therefore, not really a great value for the money. A two-pack would be more reasonable. I will try to fortify these somewhat with Gorilla tape or an additional piece of rubber to make them last longer.

I have Tiem shoes and these go on the SPD cleats so easily. I don't wear my shoes out and about, but walking from my house to the car, and to class and hearing that crunching sound is like nails on a chalk board. These covers take care of that. And your cleats will last longer.

This is my second pair; I had these covers going on 4 years (would have been longer if i didn't lose 1)i had modified the first pair and did the same to this pair; i glued rubber from an old inner tube to the bottom which adds 1 or 1.5mm to the bottom; last pair showed wear to the added rubber but virtually none to the covers bottom; only the price changed since 2016, I kept the old 1 for a spare JIC
