2.5 Plays good in bottom and mid registers but difficult to get consistency in upper register! Teacher said I needed to try harder reed because I previously had to switch my Vandoren 2.5 up to a 4.0. that allowed hitting the upper register notes but way too hard to play. These are worth investing in a box to see it they work like you need. But remember, if at first you don't succeed. . .put them into storage to attempt later as you develop your skills AND to try on different Mouthpieces! You'll be surprised!
