I got two of these for my shoulder rig. They worked for a while but the tightening knobs are made of soft metal and ended up getting stripped. Now I have to use pliers to tighten or loosen. If I could get replacement knobs made of titanium or steel that would be awesome.

I use this to hold my arri arm and my Smallrig wooden handle. It’s fine but has a lot of movement on the rod. May not be an issue for lighter handles but feels a bit jipped as I’m sure it could have done something to help make it tighter around the rod

Questo supporto della Smallirig con innesto tipo Rosette Arri, si presta ad innumerevoli soluzioni di impiego nei diversificati setup della cinecamera o della videocamera. Validissimo soprattutto quando va a sostenere elementi molto sollecitati, come handles (maniglie), o quando viene impiegato per sorreggere elementi a sgancio rapido, tipo EVF e controller vari (per es. wireless lens control), etc. Uno strumento molto flessibile e di largo impiego; un oggetto che non deve mancare nella valigia dell'amatore evoluto o del professionista, che non vogliono, o non possono, perdere tempo in cerca di soluzioni alternative, spesso posticce, quando non pericolose. Lo SMALLRIG 15mm Rod Clamp con Arri Rosette - è davvero un salva set.

Macht genau, was es soll. Leider ein zu hoher Preis. SMALLRIG war vor einigen Jahren noch deutlich(!) günstiger, als es noch nicht so beknnt war. Deshalb ruhig mal nach anderen Herstellern schauen. z.B. "Niceyrig".

THIS CLAMPS ONTO THE 15mm ROD. I was worried this might turn on a rod, but they built this well. No turning!

small rig never lets me down with their products. durable and all metal. only thing that didnt please me was that when fully tightened it still slipped a little on the 15mm rod when holding about 12 lbs. not meant to hold anything too heavy, monitor or other smaller accessories but not for a handle holding your rig. would recommend tho!
