The castor cups are shared well to fit double castors and the spikes are long enough to prevent damage to my carpet.

This product is useless. I put it under the chair legs and they came out as soon as i sat down. They were used on carpet. I'm 90 years old and I'm glad I wasn't hurt.

I bought these to put under the legs of tables in our living room. The legs made deep indentations in the carpeting. These are very good quality and are doing just what I wanted.

These are designed to hold wheels in place, but I use them to stop pointy furniture legs from indenting my thick carpet. A cluster of small holes looks better than one big hole.

If you need to find carpet protectors for your wheeled furniture, this brand is for you. Unlike other spiked carpet protectors, these have a true cup shape to hold the wheels in place and not slide off. I bought both sizes for different pieces - a chair and a sofa. Be sure to measure your wheels for a proper fit. These will not work on hardwood floors and possibly not even for very short pile rugs, like room sized or area rugs.

Used the product to stabilize a grandfather clock that was placed on a soft carpet. The casters fit nicely under the feet of the clock, sunk through the carpet to form a stable base, and held the clock firmly in place. Sturdy, easy to use, and effective.

I have used these caster holders under my bed frame wheels for years. They do a great job of keeping the carpeting from being crushed by the weight of the bed. They are very strong, but can weaken over several years and eventually crack or break. However, they hold up very well, considering how heavy mattresses can be, as well as the people sleeping in the beds. I like the fact that they are clear plastic, so they are not very noticeable, and the color of the carpet can be seen through them. They are truly a great investment!

I I use these castors under the wheels of my bed frame, which is sitting on a low/medium pile area rug.I was nervous, because many of the negative reviews commented that they didn't hold the wheels in place and that the furniture would slip out of the castors. That hasn't been my experience. I've had them under the bed frame for about six weeks now, which I'd think is plenty long enough to have seen problems if there were going to be any. There haven't. They hold the bed in place just fine. In fact, if I try to slide the bed off the castor without unlocking the wheels, it's quite difficult.Something I did which may have helped is that I set the wheels' swivel on a 45 degree angle to the bed, so that the cup in the castor isn't parallel to the furniture itself. I did that in response to other negative reviews. Honestly, though, I don't think it made any difference. I think the castors just work.Also, the height of the spikes on the rug protector height is perfect for protecting my rug.

I think some of the other reviewers are using this product for the wrong purposes. It's not designed to keep ottomans and chairs from rolling around it's designed to minimize carpet dents from wheeled objects like bed frames and does a great job at that. We have a heavy adjustable bed that was causing dents in our new berber carpet so I purchased these to help that problem. The bed is so heavy I was not able to lift each leg and had to resort to using my hydraulic jack. The coasters work perfectly and I bounced on the bed afterwards to really stress test them. I will attach a picture that shows them installed and even shows part of the dent that was there from the 2 days that we did not have them.
