These are magnetic and should be used on a metal surface such as a fridge. I use mine there and no issues sliding or not being able to read my language. I have a rainbow of markers but generally stick to primary colors for simplicity. Would reccomend for fridge storage for about marker sized items.

Even with one or two dry erasemarkets,the adhesive that holds the magnet does not stick well to the plastic. I find the markers on the floor too often!

These are small but, they don't look clunky. Using on my fridge to hold small pr of scissors in one, 5 thin marking pens in the other. Great handy product with strong magnet.

Magnets hold well enough, but the cup is so shallow it can just barely hold pens.The plastic came all scratched up on both of these, so they look ugly.I wanted to keep a set of kitchen scissors in one, but that's obviously out of the question.

The magnet should be stronger. If someone bumps the whiteboard, it slides down.

It's very small and the magnet is barely there. Even with little weight, it slides down the fridge/dry erase board/i-beam/tool box. Anything taller than a dry erase marker will fall out as it's very shallow. It will not hold a normal pair of office scissors, either in the cup or with the magnet.Not really worth it.
