Got these for the fridge because I'm always looking for a pen or other small item. We use one for pens and one for candle lighters. My kitchen table is less cluttered. These are a great size for my remote and glasses, both of which I usually lose in bed. The magnetic grip is not the strongest but good enough for light things without them falling off or sliding out of place. Quality construction, no assembly, looks good and goes with most decor styles.

What else can I say? They do what is needed. They grip real well on most everything I put them on. I have one on my front door and one on my fridge and they don't move, even when full of pens.The only one that I have any sort of issue with is on my whiteboard. Works fine if only a couple markers are in there, but if I fill it up then it slides a little. Don't think that's an issue with the holder though as much as an issue with the whiteboard just isn't very magnetic. I put it in the corner and it sits just fine.

These holders can really HOLD - I stuff them to full with pens, pencils, box cutters, and more - and they don't drift, droop, or drop an inch. We keep these on our fridge door, which swings open and shut with wild abandon sometimes, but I bet they'd hold well to similarly reckless locker door slamming.My only wish would be if they were slightly deeper to hold even more pens, but then maybe the magnets wouldn't hold up. (I'm not complaining!) Having two holders helps, though!

I needed a place to keep pens handy by the grocery list I keep on our refrigerator. These cups work well. The magnets are decently strong and don’t move around too much when taking a pencil or pen or putting one back. I would not overload it or put heavier items, like scissors, in them. But for a few pens/pencils, it does the job!
