I had to file my picitanny rail a tiny bit for the mount to fit. It has held zero perfectly so far.

I was concerned because the Amazon listing seems to be messed up and I was concerned about getting the flip over scope mount even though the QD mount was pictured. Also, everywhere else had the quick detach mounts on back order. I ordered it and actually got the Sightmark qd mount. Fits my wraith perfectly.

Well built, will probably buy another one for a different application. Worth the money.

I didn't get to use it. Since my used optic didn't come with the riser it should've, I decided to return it and go a different route. I did have it mounted and adjusted to the rail, and I was surprised at how smooth the levers are and how firmly it clamped on the rail. For the money you can't go wrong.

This is the third mount I have tried with my magnifier. The first one was cheap. The second one was $50+. They both did not feel sturdy and would not keep my dot centered. This mount is so solid to the point that I am impressed. I must have said "wow" 10 times after I had it all installed. However, there are a couple things you should know. If you mount this on an AR platform behind a red dot, when the mount is open, the mount will not open all the way. The brass deflector on the right side of the rifle prevents it from locking open. I had to file a very small amount of metal off of the deflector. This was not a big deal to me since my rifle will be getting a paint job. I don't think the description does a very good job at describing how the mount actually works. It is very hard to explain but it works great and locks up tightly. It will need some lube or grease to function smoothly. In my opinion, this is the only mount that will keep your magnifier in the same spot every time you flip it for this price.

I get it you need to slide it to side but the fact it can get stuck halfway which is not ideal for under fire when switching from mid to close range. I just bump or slam the magnifier I have in the mount, most of the time, it goes full way. Other con is no adjustment for left/right. Was looking for high grade alternate to airsoft grade and this is not it.

Best alternative to the spring switch Slide-to-Side mounts, Less moving parts means it is easier to maintain. Be advised that you have to move this mount to the side manually. If you feel the sliding action isn't locking into place as firmly, you can adjust the stiffness of the nubs holding the scope in place. Everything locks into place easily enough, and the tightness is adjustable as well.

Bought this for my son's AR.This mount is really solid and well built. There's no "slop" to it even when flipped to the side. It has a very positive latching mechanism when it's deployed. Easy to mount and easy to operate.A reminder, though: Check the height of the sight you will be using it with. I'm very firearms savvy and I almost forgot when I was shopping for mounts. My son has a holosight mounted, don"t remember the brand, but not EOTech, and there is a slight shadow of the sights frame visible when using the multiplier mounted with this mount. That could be normal as it's been a while since I was in the business of firearms, and am not intimately familiar with modern optics. In my day it was Aimpoint and ACOG, and that was about it. You kids and your "holosights" and your "reflex sights" and your "rock and roll". Bah! :)The reticule of the sight is however centered in field of view of the multiplier and works well. The unit arrived on time and undamaged. Very "sexy" box as well. Do we really need packaging for Combat Optics to look like it came from Drakkar?Anyway, very pleased, and would by again.

It started off feeling very solid but after a few bumps it has a certain wiggle that seems somewhere between 5 and 10 MOA. I've tried adjusting it but the adjustments are to strengthen the locking positions for top and side. The wiggle is a nuisance when on top but it can stick straight. If I replace it I'll certainly get one that's 5x the price. I might try putting some epoxy in the inner grooves to "bed" the slide to eliminate the wiggle, if I can figure out how to best accomplish that.
