Canopy is NOT rectangular. The 8x16 was only 68 inches wide in the center, not 8 feet wide. There are D-rings in each corner, but no grommets or rings along the sides, so only four attachment points. Seems well made otherwise.

It provides great shade for the deck. Once all the hardware is in place ( must be purchased separately), it is easy to put up and take down. Exactly what we were looking for.

We purchased our hardware separately and attached this easily to our house and one corner to a tree. It saved my plants from the brutal dry heat in the summer in the central Sierras. It allowed me to leave my living room curtains open for the first time in our summers. I'm thrilled, and will get one for the back of my house for next summer too. It was very easy to take down and store for next year.

I have to say we bought quite a few of these before landing on this one. Most of them curve in so much on the sides that it ruins the coverage. We live on the face of the sun (also known as Phoenix Arizona) in a block house and if you don’t know those have a zero insulation. My daughters room gets wicked hot every summer because it takes sun all day long and it heats up the block and she is already hot blooded so is tortured. We got this to shade the wall, and it works amazingly. We tact it to the wood above the block and in the grass use a couple of heavy duty steaks to drive it in. Not only does it work it doesn’t look bad. In fact, I would go as far as to say, it actually looks good, which is a big concern of mine. We will leave this up for the very hot months and then can take it back down. It is a lifesaver.

I love the shade sail. It came quickly and was well made. Others I have bought also had ropes attached to make it easier to install. I had to purchase ropes for this one. It does have nice D rings to attach to at the corner so I appreciate that. So far they are holding in our windy environment but it's only been a week or so..
