Hardware is for the base is very flimsy, had to get real anchors from the hardware storeCenter pole joiners are too short and cause the poles to bend really easily at any sign of tension. I’m going to make my own joiners and see how it goes. For the money it’s alright just need to improvise

Full disclosure, I am returning becasue it doesn't work in my space. Not because the poles do not work.Poles are very sturdy and the kit comes with all hardware needed to install and attach to the sail. I thought it was a littel bizarre that it came in so many pieces but I think the engineering is sound so if he wind picks up your poles won't bend or give out.The poles come in 5 pieces. 3 longer poles that attach to one another by way of 2 smaller poles that slide into each of the longer poles. They bolt togeher, which I think might be overk!ll. It seems like they could have attached by way of push button rather than 4 bolts for each attachment but it works so I can't complain there.Very easy to put together on your own. Before I got to the point of attaching the poles to the deck I figured out it wouldn't work for my space, but It seemed pretty simple.I would definitely recommend trying these out. I loved that they come in a 2 pack as well because I was using my roof to install the other side and didn't need 4 poles.Taking 1 star off just because I think the design could be better with push buttons that hold the pieces in place rather than 4 bolts for each piece.
