It's like having your own personal little greenhouse to get your seeds going at any time of the year, and it locks in the moisture so you don't have to constantly water your starters. The only thing I would change is the strength of the light coming from the filament above. But I ended up supplementing with my own grow lights anyway so I'm not sure if that's a complaint or just my own observation. I would think most people would have a grow light handy if they're doing starters in their house or you should at least be able to put it by a window. Anyway, if anything changes in the future I can come back and edit this post but for now i'll keep on using these to get my starters a head start!

These lack some of the features of better designs to keep the soil moist so monitoring daily is a bit more important. Beware of over watering which can easily lead to seeds rotting before germination.
