This thing's a bit heavy, but works like a charm. I haven't tried leaving my e-bike in a sketchy alleyway with it, but for less foolish use, like coffee shop trips and grocery runs, it has been perfect. Three years in and I still have my bike and the lock is still working great.

I bought this for my son and his electric scooter. This model was a bit heavier and bigger than I imagined, but for short term security, it's great. It enables him to run into a store for a minute or two. And I like this better than a U-lock because its flexibility allows it to be wrapped around objects of different sizes. It's not cheap, but I'm happy with it.

Quick learning curve for use. Won’t scratch. As advertised. Seems heavy duty. Recommend attaching to bike with mounting screws, not the clamps. Seems like it would eventually loosen or break with ties supplied.

We use these especially when we take our bikes to a city. They are extremely well-built and easy to use. I don’t think the average person could break this lock for sure. They are a little heavy, but I think that’s a necessary evil for this level of quality.

I would say it’s high quality, but not that convenient as chain locks.

I use on with 2 large E Bikes for my wife and I. I can use to park the front tire of each bike to the rear tire of the other bike and double lock both bikes without any post to even lock to. These bikes with fat tires, triple suspension, dual batteries weigh 100 lbs each so they are a 200 lbs set when locked together. So no way to pick up and run off with them... One key works on both locks and cannot be removed unless the system is locked up. Easy to transport under the frame of the bike. Cannot be cut with bolt cutters and would take some time and lots of noise to use a cut off grinder. Very heavy duty. Zero rattle during transport with included transport case.

This thing works great as long as you're using it at a designated bike rack. This thing is pretty heavy but I like the way it folds up. I think this thing is intimidating enough to wear most amateur bike. Thieves wouldn't mess with.It but if somebody really wants to take your bike They will figure out away. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the length. I tried to get the longest one I could find , but this thing won't even go all the way around a telephone pole. Unfortunately, most of the places I end up going. Do not have bike racks. So you have to look for a sign Pole, Metal fencing in sometimes security window bars. More times than not. I have a hard time trying to get the lock to fit around things and have to constantly. Try to move my bike closer just to lock it.

This is a heavy lock and should give you piece ofMind that the average thief’s won’t be riding off With your bike.

I was looking for a folding lock so I could have more options to lock my bike up, like around a lamp-post or tree, so I wanted the biggest one I could find (110cm), well-constructed mechanism, and the most secure. This Foldylock fits the bill on all counts!I've owned many locks over my 40+ years of riding, and nothing compares to this lock. It's so well constructed, as I could tell the first time I used it. The key slides in smoothly and the lock opens and closes with no resistance. At that point I knew this was a well-built lock. The size of it allows me to lock up to almost anything, or I can lock up 2 bikes to any bike rack. And the very high security ratings this lock garners gives me all the confidence in the world that it won't be broken. The only downside is it's very heavy (4.2lbs), but after much research, I realized the more secure a lock is, the heavier it is. That's just the reality of it. So I chose security over lightness. If a light lock is what you need, this isn't the lock for you. If you still want your bike there when you get back, this is the lock for you.

My bike is small (Trek Marlin Size S) and preclude the use of folding lock carriers that load from the top. Forward loading cases (like in Abus) seems to be a weakpoint (too many moving parts) and the single piece acrrier by foldylock solves my issues. It also helps that it's Art 3 rated (okay, that's the main point, actually) :) and uses minimal packaging. Only wish they sold it in the Netherlands though, so I dont have to import from Germany.
