Your cart is empty.Excellent Quality Leather, light weight (2 to 3 ounce). We cut a lot of leather in the shop, and we often have small pieces left over... Generally priced way higher on the open market. This lot: 2 Full Pounds (Approximately 10 Square Feet if you laid it out on a table) Mixed Assorted Rainbow Color Cowhide Pieces, soft, supple and lightweight. No dark earthtones like black or dark brown- this is a specially picked Rainbow assortment of other random colors. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Burgundy, White, Gold, Silver, Tan, or unusual patterns. Every pack is a little different, images are for example only. Pieces originate from high quality sides used for upholstery leather on upscale furniture and fancy carseats- Perfect for inlays, leather garment trims, button covers, fringes, bookmarks, crafting, doll clothing- and a thousand other uses. Please note: 1) Our digital pictures are excellent, and descriptions accurate, but color shades vary from computer to computer. 2) This leather is strictly leftovers from the manufacturing process, but is Grade A leather, an outstanding bargain with leather prices on the rise. 3) All pieces are irregular in shape and size, random selection, but we always pack a nice size batch, some large, some small, some long, some short as shown in picture. We do not send "strings" or odd lot unuseable junk.

As a crafter I’m always looking for interesting supplies, have looked at this “scrap” jumble for quite a while, & finally purchased. Although the mix I received was not as brightly colored as the vendor’s examples (I had hoped for some unusual brights), I was pleasantly surprised by the number of colors & sizes of the leather pieces. Scraps are roughly cut in squares or rectangles, with an average width of 7-9”, & average length of 12-14” long. Largest piece I received is 8x16”; smallest was 7x8”. I received 16 pieces in 12 different colors ranging from off white to rust, olive green, & navy, and other colors in between. (I had one odd “quarter of a pie” shaped piece that feels like a it was a “throw in”.) All are useable with some forethought & planning for small leather projects like wallets, glasses cases, coin purses, key covers and tags, etc. Also great for practice pieces re: tooling, carving, sewing, trapunto, piping, etc. Special bonus: clean pieces, no mars, and- for those in the know- nice smelling. Price seems reasonable.

I got some duplicate pieces, but overall this was an awesome excellent deal! I have made multiple products and will find use for all but one small sheet that’s just too fuzzy on the back for my purposes. Already bought again and would be happy to get even the exact same colors but hoping for variety.

The size of each piece was roughly the equivalent of an 8 x 10” piece. And there was quite a variety of colors and some different textures of leather. Very happy with my purchase.

Very nice variety of bright colored leather and very usable pieces for my small zipper bags, bag tags, and key fobs. All pieces are soft and a good thickness for sewing.

I have ordered other packs from this company with great success and wanted to try the rainbow pack to add some more colors into the mix. The colors were gorgeous and every piece was usable. The sizes were larger than advertised (See pic). I will definitely order this pack again when I want more colors for small leather goods.

There is a huge variety sizes, shapes, colors, thicknesses, textures, and condition in the lot i received. Unfortunately several of the lighter colored pieces were stained/discolored in some way. Some pieces are very thick (2-3mm) and about half are super thin (less than a mm). I got mostly triangle shapes rather than squares or round pieces. This may all be good news for you depending on what you are trying to make. I was going to make leather earrings on my cricut and I would not recommend purchasing this lot for that purpose.

Update: Again I purchased this hoping to receive some brighter colors and was not disappointed! I received such a beautiful variety - I couldn’t be happier and will definitely buy from again! (3 photos from first order, 3 photos from second order)Review from first order 12/2022: I was somewhat bummed to open the package and not find any of the gorgeous teal and purple colors as shown in the listing, but I acknowledge this is a random assortment. This is a great product for those that work with smaller dimensions of leather; I make leather flowers and this is perfect for an assortment of petals without having to paint or dye them. I likely will buy from again in the future in the hopes of scoring some more blues and purples. Shipping was faster than I expected, and it was all packaged well.

Great assortment of malleable, colourful, high quality leather. Bought this to make colourful juggling balls so I wasn't too concerned about the size of the pieces. They might be a bit small for other projects, but for my purposes they are perfect. Most of the pieces I got were in sets of 3 or more, but there were a few randoms. As the randoms are a very similar leather if not the same, that's fine, as they can be used together. The leather is soft enough to fold well over a saddle stitch and fill well, but still sturdy enough to last. If I need more I will definitely buy again.
