I bought this kit to use during a head gasket replacement.I had previously changed my timing kit 10k miles ago with a higher quality kit and I ended up reinstalling that tensioner and water pump due to the low quality of these parts.Tensioner was initially frozen. After working it back and forth a few times it was still binding.The pulley bearing didn't have play but tensioner didn't move as designed to.The water pump bearings had play.These are critical parts on an interference engine. If they fail you will damage your engine and regret using cheaply made parts.The seals seemed ok. The timing belt also seemed ok so I only ended up using those 3 pieces.

I'm now feeling lucky that my tensioner bolt stripped out and I had to remove the tensioner after I pulled the pin. The bottom plate was bound to the tensioner. On the old tensioner the plate moved freely. This likely would have destroyed my engine after the belt wore and stretched a little. This timing belt kit was a replacement for another I bought with the same frozen tensioner from another vendor with the same red bearing cover. The old tensioner is going back on the car since it wasn't that old and I only took everything apart to replace a seal. If you order this kit, double-check the tensioner.

The water pump and tensioner were correct but the timing belt was the wrong part (too short). I had to go to a local store and get the right part which they luckily had in stock.

the kit includes the water pump and the gasket, the timing belt, the tensioner kit. the build is good and compared with the parts that I took off of the car which were the OEM parts, I couldn't tell any difference. good quality. I like them.
