These are high quality bits. I use them with my drill press and they've greatly reduced tear out on the back side of my work. They move through hard wood and soft wood easily. Just remember to adjust speeds according to the type of material. The tip makes it easy to line up holes for accuracy. Great product.

Used the bits to to drill and relocate several hinges on kitchen cabinets. Only needed the one size bit but the price for the whole set was better than expected and now I have the rst of the bit for future projects.

Some of the larger bits are very dull. You have to file an edge on them to actually use them and the performance is still not good.

I purchased this set to drill holes into the back of an oak plank so that I could put magnets in the back and make one of those neat, trendy bottle openers. The product was easy to use and I was able to succeed in my DIY bottle opener.

No mystery as these Forstner bits are what they are. They perform well making precise, clean holes and are absolutely fine for most people. Fine craftsmen (women) may require more; unfortunately, I do not.
