As they say you get what you pay for. These don"t last more then a minute unless you take the time to super glue them all first. Even then it's no big improvement. WEAR EYE PROTECTION and be prepared to sweep up hundreds of small pieces of wire . Also wear an apron unless you also want to pick them out of your cloths. UGH !!

I purchased these to clean up some metal. I installed a stainless wire brush in my Dremel, turned it on the lowest setting and it completely exploded the second I barely touched the metal, sending a thousand wire strands all over the kitchen. As much as the vacuum picked up, we are still finding them, usually by a bare foot splinter. Tried a second (outside this time) and the exact same thing happened.

Really well thought out kit for cleaning and polishing. Very surprised at the quality less than 20cent per piece I expected that they would wear down quicker than what I have from various kits. The wire brushes are better than what I had they lasted much longer. (I have not tried the super glue trick to slow down the loss of wire bristles but I will.) Used them for rust on hand tools perfect. The polishing bits come in 4 grits and the double layer really does increase durability and also give a greater surface area. I used these for polishing sometimes dry sometimes with small amount of polish. They are big and I have a cheap Dremel clone so I use about half max rotation. I purchased a separate kit of rubber polishing bits that I use if the metal itself is pitted followed up with the polishing bits.

Used it to clean and abolish an aluminum intake manifold and they did a a beautiful job. The assortment gets into the Knicks and corners that are hard to get to. Used with my variable speed dermal tool. Had to use a high speed setting with the brushes and low speed with the buffers.

The brass is more fragile than the steel wheels. The brass fly apart pretty quickly but get the job done for light cleaning or hard to reach surfaces

After my boyfriend died I found a box with hundreds of keys he had collected and decided I wanted to make a windchime with many of them.
