sanding brushes are meant to sand unique surfaces with intricate details. They do the job, but you have to be careful not to sand done those high surfaces because the brunt of the brush hits those high contact areas.

Bought these to obtain a distressed look on oak floorboards after raising the grain.Worked a treat. Each one is actually 4 narrow (1/4") brushes on a threaded shank so you will be able to make them narrower to get in hard-to-reach places or add extra brushes up to 2" if your drill can handle the extra torque required, which is why I bought 2 sets. The P80 brush stripped the hardwearing varnish off brand new engineered oak floorboards very quickly without risk of digging in but keep it moving anyway.I'd be very careful using them on softwoodThe stickers that show the grit size will surely fall off at some point and not easy to tell difference by eye so a good idea to put scratches on the shanks or colour-coded electrical tape/masking tape before they fall off! These will spend a lot of time on the shelf but every once in a while will be just the ticket and will probably find lots of other uses for them e.g. stripping rust/paint from irregular surfaces. The brushes are held on with a hex nut so don't use them in reverse.Turn the drill or the work around instead. The torque required to get them working well is probably too much for low end cordless drills but with a corded drill or drill press they are working well so far.Durability unknown at this stage but seem ok and no lost bristles.

For small projects they work very well, but if you're planning on doing a big project with these id advice u to just get a brush sander

I have not used this set yet, but I had also purchased the #400, #600 and #800 grit set. I recently used them to clean up and polish aluminum hubs and a cylinder head on 50 year old motorcycle. Each brush wheel is made up of four thinner wheels mounted on the mandrel. I was able to to remove/replace individual brush wheels to make it different thicknesses. I have not used the coarser grits yet. They seem like they will last a good while..The only bad side I found is the grit size is marked on a sticker - that can eventually come off. I used a dremel to mark grit in the wheels hub.

Depends on what you use them for. I use mine everyday and eventually the bristles will shorten but none fell out. They are great quality and for the price.

I have tried the little dremel wheels and others like them all fell apart while using them, they were junk. I opened these up and was surprised at the size and spacing on the brush. It did real good on a rooster 3 d and some texture on v carve signs I did. I can’t attest to how long they will last . But I will say they have done what no other product could so far. The bristles are stiff so you can put more pressure to get down in the crevices. It would work better if they made a smaller version same material for fine work
