So far everything seems sturdy but I am missing 1/2 pieces of the vertical post. It is non functional until I receive it.

The box was all taped up and it was explained that it arrived to the dock that way, so my hopes were pretty low that it would be undamaged but to my surprise, it was not damaged. Good. Assembly went well. Like others said the instructions are tiny but I used my camera to blow them up and from their assembly went well. I have a 100lb bag that currently weights 76lbs and this stand does move a bit but it doesn't shift or move its legs if that makes sense. I used (3) 50lb sandbags, one on each leg up front and one on the backside of the middle leg. Commercial sand is 5dollars for a 50lb bag from home depot so much cheaper that way, 15bucks plus another 15 for a pack of sandbags is cheaper than buying 100+lbs in weight which is what you need to keep the stand planted on the ground if you don't bolt it down. There is no guide on how much weight is needed to weight it down, it depends on how hard you hit and how much your bag weighs.

All you need is some weights and a yoga mat as shown above and please follow this format + this thing is seriously built + I'm about 220 Pounds and 6 feet even and I go all the way in strong with combos after combo and it holds very well with a bit of rattling but not that bad .... just follow the weight tips by looking at the pictures and you will surely enjoy your boxing 🥊 experience 😜

This stand is great. A strong, sturdy stand that withstands my kicks and punches. I have it with 1-50 lb sandbags on each side and 2-50 sandbags at the back which is plenty. Also has brackets for bolting if you want to go that way as well. The only lousy thing is the directions. They are laughably small (miniature diagram) and the parts weren't labeled. Some screws looked the same length at first glance, but recommend laying ALL of them out before you start assembly. The last step was hilarious - it had you attaching the mounting hardware AFTER you had completed the whole stand. Also, recommend NOT tightening screws when installing the support arms since tolerances were tight. Instead, tighten all of these at the end when all screws are installed.Once you get beyond the installation, you will have a quality stand for a LONG time.

this is a great bag stand that puts the bag at an ideal height. this can be used by real boxers. it is easy to put together. use common sense unlike these other weekend/fad trainers who complained about this stand in other reviews. TIGHTEN the bolts all the way and torque them good. USE SAND BAGS TO HOLD IT DOWN. it WILL lean a bit if hit at the right angle even with the sandbags but nothing to worry about. i practice power shots on this as well as kicks. its sturdy and i only have 3 sand bags holding it down although it will sway at a certain angle but nothing that will worry me. and if i added more sandbags this thing would be very very sturdy. i cannot find a better one in this price range that doesnt take up a ridiculous amount of space and costs the same.

I am returning the item. One of the reasons is that the hook or lock that was supposed to work with the hook or lock from the punching bag is completely closed, so there's no way to connect the two, they were sold to me as something that would fit, but they are obviously not designed for fitting together and this should say so in the specifications, so people don't buy expensive and heavy stuff just to have them returned. It is also too big and it didn't fit into the room of the person (this was a Christmas gift), so we ended up returning. Unfortunately and because I bouth both this and the punching bag too early, I missed the deadline to return the punching bag with the globes, so now we are stuck with a punching bag and globes that can't be hanged and could only return the stand...which I'm still waiting the money back!

This is a strong, stable stand. Three sand bags (one on each side, one on the back) keep it from moving an inch when I punch and kick. Found it very easy to put together, came with all its pieces. I've been dying to get my bag out of the basement and into a healthier environment -- this one was the only stand that was narrow enough to fit on my 48" wide side porch, so it was my only real option -- so happy it meets all my needs and works perfectly.

Keep in mind that this stand is really tall! I have an inch of room above it to the ceiling. It's relatively sturdy with about 80 lbs. of weights holding it down altogether.

This stand showed up packaged like nobody cared whether it arrived intact or not. One of the support braces is bashed up fairly good as a result and missing entire sections of red paint. For whatever reason they decided to package 4 of the bolts, several of the washers and two nuts completely separate from the rest of the blister-pack of hardware. Luckily I found them at the last minute all tucked neatly into a piece of crumpled brown packing paper in the box, otherwise I would have made an unnecessary trip to the hardware store. The stand itself is very cheaply constructed and definitely not worth the money. The metal tubing that holds the eye-bolt started to collapse from me hand tightening the bolt in place. In general most bolt holes didn't line up quite correctly and the center beam leans slightly to the right as a result of this. My biggest issue with this stand is how top heavy it is. I have added 150lbs to the base of the this thing and it still wants to rock violently when I throw combos. I'm going to add an additional 100lbs centered around the main beam and see if that solves the tipping issue. I am fairly confident that this stand won't last more than a couple of months without me adding additional bracing and support. I regret this purchase and would return it in a heartbeat if the packaging for the box wasn't completely destroyed in transit, making it virtually impossible to re-box it. Unless you throw little humming-bird punches and never make any real impact with your bag when you strike, or you have no other alternate for hanging a bag, avoid this stand.

The stand is everything I wanted -- tall and decently strong. Being 6'3", when the bag is hanging directly from the stand I can throw punches head-height and hit the sweet spot of the bag (not the top where there's little-to-no filling). With stands from big-box stores, I'd either hit the very top of the bag (where there's no filling) or just completely punch over top. That said, make sure you have enough clearance. Our basement has 9' ceilings, but I'd be nervous in a basement with 8' ceilings. At 7'11", a finished basement with 1/2" drywall ceiling and 1/2" rubber tile would have the stand hitting the ceiling.Assembly wasn't difficult. The instructions weren't great, but with a bit of common sense, a couple of wrenches and an allen key it's intuitive what needs to go where. With a 100 lb bag and 150 lbs of old sand-filled weights holding it down on bare concrete, it stays put for the most part. Occasionally a strong kick or double-fist punch will shuffle it over. The concrete doesn't offer much friction, though; once we install rubber flooring, I doubt it will move. Bag access is a good 270 degrees or so, but if you're doing low kicks I wouldn't do those from the side of the stand. After my third session with the 100 lb bag hanging straight from the stand, the hollow tubing at the top collapsed into an oval shape. I bent it back, installed additional nuts on the inside of the bolt that the bag hangs on (so the bolt acts as a spreader), and bought a heavybag spring to help dissipate the force being transferred to the stand. No issues since that, just re-tightening the bolts every few months. With the spring installed I can't stand tall and throw head-height punches anymore, but most of the time there is at least a slight bend in my knees anyways and this becomes a non-issue.If you do get this, I'd highly recommend spending an extra $12 and getting a heavybag spring to dissipate impact and help prevent the tubing from collapsing. I bought the , but any heavy bag spring should do.

I finished putting this together yesterday. Yes the instructions could be written better but it is not too hard to figure out. I was able to do this myself. Make sure you have a socket wrench. I had to go get the right size. You will need an 11/16th or 17mm socket, and a I used a combination wrench of the same size to hold the nut as I screwed in the bolt. I hung a 100lb bag and it seems to hold the weight just fine. I found the stand to tip pretty easily if you get the bag swinging. I will attach some bungee cords from the bottom of the bag and see if that helps. I did notice that the pegs meant for holding weights make the base uneven so it wobbles a little. I have it on a foam tile floor and once I put the bag on it was fine. It came in good shape except for one of the support bars was scraped up, but only on the side that faces the wall so I didn't really care.
