Great bag hanger. My bag is about 50 lbs and holds it with ease. Bolts included are plenty strong, not sure what others are receiving.

Used this to hang a swing chair. The width is perfect for a normal stud width in the ceiling. Used a stud finder to find both edges of the stud and marked the holes. Pre-drilled and used their heavy duty screws to mount it. Worked out great!

It is exactly what it is and does the job for me. Easy to hang, sturdy as can be. I had to brace the 2x6 beam with additional wood to keep the floor from vibrating. I hit the bag in basement the Mrs. could feel the floor shaking upstairs. So once I braced the main beam with two others life is good. So is the Mrs. Would recommend. Would buy again.

The mount itself is sturdy. It’s rated for 600lbs, and I believe it. The most weight I’ve put on it is 300 lbs (myself and my son together) and I felt very secure. The spring on the other hand didn’t hold up well. The first time someone who weighed over 200lbs sat in the attached hammock chair, the spring drastically stretched out. The added bounce of the spring was kind of fun, but it also meant the hammock was now like 6 inches off the floor. I ordered a separate spring weighted to 500lbs, and it’s holding up just fine to 300lbs.

Great product. Fast delivery. Easy install. Very strong. I got the version with the spring included.My bag was originally hung with an eyebolt, but it snapped on Monday. So needed a quick fix.After finding my joist, I detached the spring frpm the base and used the base as a template. I drilled 4, 9/16" holes for pilots and then use the power drill to get the bolts most of the way in (first pic). I then hand tightened everything down good. Had my wife help with reattaching the included carabiner to the spring while I held the bag up. Easy-peasy. Added the ~30 lb sandbag at the top for working upper cuts. Total weight is 140-150 lbs, and the attached the weighted ancor at the bottom.Couple of dozen hard side kicks later and same with the uppercuts to the sandbag and I was sold. The bag spun easily to position the sandbag for the uppercuts, and bounced with ease after each hard side kick was thrown. Spring definitely does its job reducing stress on the ceiling. No squeaking was heard at any time.Price for me was just under $30 with tax. Totally happy. Buy it. You won't regret it.
