All my kids are doing competitive gymnastic and as their level went higher, they liked to use these grips. Yes, they are little tough and required more time to break but their quality and durability are superb.

My son has broken these in and says they are working for him. The quality seems good. However- the buckles dig in pretty viscously.

Perfect fit for adult man 196 cm height. Medium size fit ideally. Material is pleasant, and buckle seems nice and firm.

My 12 year old son is the tallest and heaviest boy on his team. I wanted to most secure, most durable grips I could find for him. These have worked well so far.8/15/2019 Update. My son is still using these grips. They have held up extremely well, requiring only chalk and sanding the finger holes to enlarge them every few months as he has grown.
