I was really disappointed by this set. At the price point, I didn't expect much, but the construction just feels extremely cheap. Both pieces are very lightweight. The construction reminds me of actual toys.I'm pretty sure the material inside the paddle is cardboard, and the "leather" puckers and peels around the cutout. It definitely doesn't provide any impact at all, very much like if you hit yourself with actual cardboard. And there's a crinkly noise, like the material is stiff and plasticky. It feels like an imitation version of a paddle.The whip is slightly better, but still pretty bad. The strands are very soft and don't provide any sting at all, even if you put 100% force behind it. They're actually soft enough that they could be decent for sensory play, and I did enjoy the feeling of it running over my skin. The material around the handle is odd and also plasticky and crinkles when you move around it. It feels like if I grab it at the wrong angle, it'll just tear right off.The only redeeming thing I can say about this set is that, maybe if you're reaaaally nervous about getting into this and want something that's not actually the real thing, like more of a toy/make believe set, just to introduce the idea into the bedroom, this could be decent for you.

Fun little tassel whip that hurts so good. It’s not the best quality material jut it’s fun while it lasts. XOXO. Great for beginners and those use like a little fun. They both could be bigger that’s for sure.

These aren't bad at all for a little budget set. They're pretty light and great for beginners. I would definitely recommend if you're just dabbling and not seriously into bdsm.
