A little shorter than I expected, but very well-made and very good quality. Despite coming from Pakistan (a lot of leather goods do, and quality is often good) shipping was rapid.

The 'snapper' detached after a couple of months, which was disappointing, but I have used it a lot. I wanted a training aid for dogs, and I have never used a whip, so I was looking for one that was short (less chance of hurting myself) and inexpensive (in case I couldn't use it or damaged it trying to learn to use it). It was great. I did whip myself a few times, so even short, it is dangerous. I soon learned how to 'crack' it, and it cracked very well. Even from a distance (100+ yards) one 'crack' was enough to get the dogs' attention, and they would stop playing/antagonizing one another and were receptive to voice commands. I could not find the 'snapper', so I attached a six inch length of paracord to the end; it does not 'crack' exactly the same, but it is still loud enough and cracks consistently. The dogs still stop and look to see what I want when I use it, so it has been ideal for my needs, so still five stars despite the 'snapper' detaching.
