L'ho preso in offertona a quasi la metà del prezzo standard. Solo per questo motivo do 3 stelle, altrimenti ne avrei date 2. Il prodotto è molto cheap. Non ha ottime rifiniture. Chiuso è asimmetrico come potete vedere dalle mie foto allegate.

I had to return this because the bottom arms push on my basses knobs, not good.

I had a couple of the older version of these; the left side support comes out a little higher on those, but i actually prefer the lower profile, it is more symmetric. The Quiklok stands hold guitars much more upright than other similar stands. I could not decipher what the new latching mechanism was like, but it is very nice, easier than the old pull pin, but just as dependable. Far & away my favorite guitar stand.

The 631 used to be my favorite stand. That's the OLD 631. The new one has a nicer mechanism, but the front left hook's tip turns in too far. Unless your guitar is under 1 7/8" (preferably even 1 3/4") in body thickness (including any arch from the edge), the tip is bound to touch (or scratch?!?) the top of your guitar. The old one would 'catch' the guitar if it leaned forward. The new one will push the tip of that hook into your top. Granted only foam and plastic are touching the top, but even that can cause marring on the finish. The new ones where decently priced when I got them, but now they are almost twice as much, so needless to say I won't be getting more of these, even though my collection is still growing.Other than that it is very solid and well built.

The plastic support broke on my Apple Cinema Display and this works perfect as a replacement. Took a long time to find an adequate replacement.

Very light weight but very stable. Reading previous reviews I was a little concerned wether my Jazz dimensioned bass would be stable on the stand. The body is not a mirror image and as such the guitar does not stand perfectly upright unless the neck is rested slightly to the left of the neck rest as you look at it. Reading this back I realise it is difficult to visualise but don't worry as it is a non problem. The instrument is very safe and totally stable no matter which way you decide to place it on the stand. For this review I tried to destabilise the stand but was unsuccessful.Folds to a very easily transportable and light package. Very well made and extends for use with a reassuring "click".Would buy again if another guitar stand is wanted.

I purchased the QL-631 not to use as a guitar stand, but as a substitute stand for my older 23" HD Cinema Display's busted one. It securely holds the monitor at just the right angle and the padded features protect the monitor's acrylic finish. It may not be holding up a rare Gibson, but it's doing a great job with my expensive Apple monitor. It was also half the price of buying a replacement stand from Apple. This turned out to be a review for a product not used as intended but I'm sure it will do a fine job as a guitar stand. It came within a couple days after I placed my order with Amazon which made me happy to get back to work again.

I have several of these guitar stands and they work perfect for electric guitars and basses. I would not recommend these for acoustic guitars or any guitar or bass that is really fat, I have a strat and a Les Paul and they work great. The are stable and with the foam on the rails they keep the guitar from getting scratched. They are a little heavy which is good because you don't want them tipping.
