They look great and fold up nice.But the height is a bit low and even a semi-hollow body electric is too wide for the groove, and leans too far over (just like any full size acoustic) to feel the guitar is secure in the stand.Good enough in low traffic areas for thin solid body guitars though.

I use this for a Yamaha classical guitar and a NEXG acoustic electric guitar. Both are VERY different but this does the trick for each! It’s a great looking stand, love the padding, and very secure.

Does the trick for my guitar and bass. Hinges are tight, and the padding is great. Love that it comes with a travel pouch, and folds up so small. Looks great too.

When I'm playing at church, the last thing I need is a bulky guitar stand. I have one of the old ones. When I saw this, I had to try it. First of all, it is compact and folds up into a carry bag taking up very little space. So yes, it is very convenient. It comes folded up, and all you do is un-fold it, open it up, and place your guitar (or uke) on it. I was especially pleased by the firm grip it gave my Washburn acoustic guitar. It holds the guitar securely, despite being small. And it looks good. Although you don't see much, what you do see is a nice wooden stand, that looks much better than those metal ones. Really outstanding.

The rest of the hardware is substantial and the wood is as well. I also like the way it is covered and the material used. I’ll keep it because I don’t think the hinge will receive much pressure as long as I don’t twist it.
