We had a limit of space on existing mailbox rail shared with neighbors. Good to find a locking box as stolen mail has happened repeatedly with no protections offered from the USPS.

Great mailbox! Sturdy metal and sleek black color. I feel secure knowing my mail is locked inside. I love that it looks like a regular mailbox on the outside but hidden inside is a safe and secure lockbox. There is plenty of room on top of the lockbox for outgoing mail, small packages, larger envelopes or junk mail. The lock opens easily and comes with 2 keys. I wish the outside door would close more tightly (with a clasp or magnet) but it does close with a push and metal is strong enough not to blow open. Hardware was included and installation was fairly easy on my existing standard post. I hesitated about buying at first because of some other reviews about performance but I have found it to perform well and I’m very happy I decided to purchase this mailbox. It’s exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. It works great, looks great, and gives me a sense of security knowing my mail is locked safely inside until I can get to it.

I opened the box, looked it over, and put it back in the box to return it to Amazon.I liked that the mailbox looks like a regular mailbox, that was the appeal. Had the mailbox been a surdier steel and the locking space harder to break into, I wouldve kept it. It is just a cheap mailbox, with a cheap insert. I thought very easy to pull apart.I purchased the mail boss brand, I just put it up.Go with that instead. The mailboss is larger than a standard mailbox, I didn't like that, but secure wise, the only way a thief is getting the mail is ripping the whole box off my mount.This Qualarc is too cheap to really give you any confidence your mail will still be there after being out of town a few days.

I bought this mailbox because my mail was being stolen from the old one! This mailbox is smaller and the perfect size for the slot being smaller so no hands can pull out the mail! Nice quality! I love the shelf it has to put the outgoing mail! Sturdy construction! Nice red flag for mail driver to see! I am very happy that I purchased this! It was packaged very nice and great delivery service! Thank You!

This mail box is solid, easy to install, and totally theft proof. You have lot's of room for mail and your mind will be at ease as your mail will be safe in this one. Definitely worth the price.
