1. Loosen band clamps on either side of the mass air flow sensor. Unplug the electrical air sensor.
2. Loosen band clamp connecting the intake pipe to the throttle body,then remove the intake hose and throttle body.
3. Remove the air filter box and air filter.
4. Remove the he old insulation panel underneath,assemble the new metal heat shield with the provided hardware.
5. Attach the 90° silicon elbow with the shorter side facing the engine. Next, install the air intake pipe to the silicon elbow. Carefully install the provided band clamps.Then attach the silicon boot to the intake pipe and connect the other side of the boot to the mass air flow sensor housing.
6. Connect the sensor housing to the filter assembly. Once all parts are connected and lined up, tighten all band clamps to secure all joints. Plug in air sensor harness and reconnect the negative battery terminal. Installation is ok!!

These aren't rubber grommets there hard plastic that doesn't tighten or seal or stay in place. Extremely cheap

Everything looked great except the intake pipe was scratched pretty good down to bare metal. But considering the price and that it comes with plates to block out heat, it's pretty good.

There is no slot for the airflow sensor so you need to buy extra parts from your local auto store to make it work.

The fit seems like it is mad to fit many different models of vehicles. The mounting brackets don’t attach to anything and the screw clamps are REALLY cheaply made and will strip out with very little effort.

With a little modification with my aluminum welder and a smaller filter I was able to make this work for my LS swap.....a lot cheaper than cutting up a 200$ cold air intake from the local part store ....the filter that comes with it is sooooo massive

The silicon to the maf is 4 inch my maf is a little bigger then 3.5 so order another cheap silicon

For less money then you can walk into an auto part store and get equivalent parts this works just fine i havent had a chance to double check to fitment of the shroud but the pipe and filter seem no worse off then the stock filter. Fit as it should and install went really smooth but then again its a worm clamp and a pipe so not alot going on. i was more so just dressing up and engine bay it does make the throttle body abit louder but overall with the shiftpoints in my old truck im not expecting a huge power gain. if any at all that would be feelable. but doesnt mean that it isnt breathing better
