Product came packaged really well when shipped. The plastic material looks to be very sturdy, but there were a few imperfections in the items as seen in the pictures. Obviously just like the description states this is only the “Ram Air duct & upper hood bracket” like stated on the page, no bolts and rubber grommets included so if you order please know that you will have to use what you have or order new hardware. Had to clean/remove some plastic around the bolt holes and the alignment of the holes were off a little just enough to make some connections a little bit of a struggle to make the connection. This product doesn’t have the foam lining around the connections like the OEM. The steel mesh for the front openings good but the rubber attachment the goes between the front fairing and the air tube does seem like a softer plastic then the OEM one. With a little more quality control and quality assurance this item can be a really good replacement part.

I wanted to give this a five but to be fair on the entire product the duct attachment didn't fit very well, which would be a bummer if you need it. I decided to use the original duct attachment instead, which fit perfectly. To add, keep in mind that this doesn't come with bolts or screws in case you need them; reuse the ones you have or buy new ones separately. I also don't like shipments from FedEx, more of a personal gripe and no knock on the product, I just cringe when I see things delivered from FedEx because I've dealt with them losing packages in the past. Other than that everything else fit perfectly on my 2009 CBR 600rr.👌

The ram air intake is poorly made. But the fairing stay is decent that's the only reason it not getting return buy OEM it better quality.
