I am wanting to play with all my handheld consoles and decided I wanted to start playing with my Sony PSP 3000. I absolutely loved my PSP's that I bought each generation (and the Vita as well).But father time has been unkind and found the battery had expanded overtime and had to be replaced.So, looking online and found this rechargeable lithium ion battery pack replacement for under $14.Sony PSP batteries are easy to change, remove the back cover and plop this back in.That's it!Play your PSP it until it dies (use up that residual charge) and then do a full recharge and you are set.It's important to note that this is for the later versions of the Sony PSP, not the first model (1000).The Bebat 2500mAh High Capacity for Sony PSP 2000/3000 PSP-S110 Console, Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack is recommended!

Decent battery. Works with a PSP 1000 with some minor modifications. Have to clip off one of the feet, then you have to put some positive pressure onto the battery to keep it connected to the terminals. I stuck a little bit of foam between the battery and the cover and that seems to do the trick.The battery charges, holds charge, and fits decently well even in a device it's not designed for.
