I own a psp 3000 and when trying to install the new battery I had bought I realised that the battery did not fit. I assumed it may have been the psp at fault however when putting in the original battery it fit with no problems. This product from my experience doesn’t work on the psp 3000 as advertised.

My current PSP-2000's battery has not been holding a charge for legitimate amount of time. In fact, even while on a charger, the charge light would dip from green (100%) to orange (less than 100%). So I decided to take a chance on this BOANV Battery Pack.Build QualityThe battery itself looks very similar to other like type Model PSP-S360s. It has a black casing with black label that has white lettering and a blue safety label with black icons. The BOANV does not have a label on the front side. The battery is very solid and lightweight. It fits very snug in the battery compartment. So snug, in fact, I have to use a tool such as a flathead screwdriver to pry it out. Take note, a lot of force is not required to do so. I simply could not lift it with my finger nails or tap it out. It did click into place when inserting it into the compartment. I had no issues closing the battery compartment.Battery LifeThe battery has 2400mAh capacity. It came with a partial charge. After placing it on the charger for less than an hour, it completed its first charge cycle. I left it on the charger for 24 hours. I've used it for a while under different operation loads and it seems to hold up very close to an original PSP battery. One thing I need to point out is the battery held up for a long period when not in use. It did not drain heavily while in storage.Final ThoughtsThe BOANV battery absolutely met the needs I had for a replacement PSP-2000 battery. To me, it performs just as well as an original PSP-2000 battery. I would recommend this battery for anyone who may need it.Please note the final picture is to depict the battery charging.

I haven't used my PSP in literal years, my original battery started to swell and popped my cover open while in storage and I never bothered to replace it after I discarded it. When I stumbled over this I decided it's finally time to revisit the classics and get my old little friend running again.It fit in perfectly and it turned on at full charge right away. I was delighted! I can't wait to play some of my old games again, nothing ultimately beats a good handheld. Can recommend this battery replacement for anyone that seeks to revive their nostalgia!
