I have a queen large mattress. When it came in, I thought oh boy this is not going to be easy. My husband was at work. So let me explain I unzipped it walked over to the head of the bed , picked up that corner and it was heavy but I slide the corner inside the mattress cover. Went to the other aide and did the same. After that it was simple I grab one side and pulled it down to the foot and then the other. Then I worked over the corners and got the wrinkles out and zippppp is was done. My husband was shocked I was able to slide that over the mattress by myself. I am no spring chicken either. Let's say 60 is knocking on my door.

Me and my child has been suffering from allergies more this season. I was quite used to it but I was more concerned for the small one. At first I thought he was having eczema flair ups due to the food and after going to the allergy doctor - it became clear that it was more environmentally triggeredOur doctor actually told us that dust mites and what not can lurk within the mattress and can easily crawl through old mattress protectors and bedsheets easily.One week after using this and I have definitely seen an improvement. Mattress protectors, pillow protectors, moisturizers for the skin and fragrance free detergents definitely helped with the flair ups for the small one. I on the other hand also noticed a big difference as I'm not all too wheezy when I wake up every morning. I wash our sheets once a week and didn't see a difference before, but after putting this mattress cover on, I feel so much better in the morning.The threads on this are weaved much tighter than our mattress protector so sometimes even a few air bubbles are trapped inside. The fabric used is quite soft and remains quiet even when shifting around in bed. Our mattress is 13" high and I had no problem fitting this over it, actually it even has room to spare. The cover also comes with a fat piece of velcro where the zipper meets and 5 pieces of zip ties to make sure the zipper is locked and stays locked.In conclusion, I definitely recommend this for people who suffer from allergy problems. It is a way to remove a potential trigger and has definitely helped me get a good nights sleep.

This mattress encasement is nice. It's not like a cheap plastic cover, it's way more high-end. The zipper seems secure and the velcro tabs make it so much nicer. I'm not sure i'd lever actually zip tie the zippers together, but that would help keep the encasement from opening up should there be a lot of movement on the bed. The fabric is also much softer than expected. The stitching seems secure, so you should be able to wash this and replace it many times before having to get a new one. All in al this is a good purchase.

I was worried this cover would be kind of crinkly and noisy but it's actually very soft and doesn't make any noise at all. Our new apartment complex requires these kind of covers for our mattresses and I'm really enjoying this one. I don't even notice it's there. It's very soft and again doesn't make any noise when you turn or sit on this.

My packaged was destroyed by FedEx when it was delivered - the box was torn and the plastic on the mattress encasement was ripped and there was a big boot print on the fabric. I was worried, but since the encasement itself (besides the footprint) looked to be intact and undamaged, I figured I'd rather not create waste and would wash it and see how it turned out. Tossed it in the wash, followed the instructions, treated the foot print with stain remover and hoped for the best. Thankfully the boot print washed out easily and when I pulled it out of the dryer, it was sparkling white. I inspected every inch of the liner and couldn't detect any physical damage at all, so on it went to protect our brand new mattress. Getting it on was very easy - I did work with my spouse to get it on evenly, but we had it on the mattress and zipped up in under 2 minutes. Love the velcro seal and zip ties to make sure it's installed in place, and there's some writing on the edges of each side to help you remember to flip or rotate your mattress regularly. It feels super soft and though this is the most base layer of the liners that we put on our mattress, it doesn't feel hot when sleeping on it.

I have had several mattress covers/protectors in the past. This one has gone the extra mile and added velcro tabs to prevent the zipper from un-zipping. Also has a nice velcro panel in the center closure area, which worked far better than expected in my situation. The bed I'm putting this on is an older Sleep Number inflatable style bed that has the air tubes coming from the top of each side. The extra velcro panel in the middle allowed me to leave the zippers fastened up to the tubes, then still able to velcro the cover closed in the center between each tube. So there is no reason to have the whole top of the cover unzipped and have it sliding off, as with a standard cover. This will stay on now.It will not be 100% sealed, because there are still gaps that are unzipped, but the cover will stay on...which is exactly what I need.The terry cloth, noiseless cover is on par with other waterproof terry covers and should last for a while. I'm loving the extra perks they added on this one.

I'm converting my gazebo into a yurt, and wanted to seal my mattress off from mold, mildew, and encroaching creatures, since I'm living in a wilderness spot. This is so great for that. I ordered this and a different brand and there was no comparison between the two, price being very comparable. As another reviewer pointed out there are multiple safeguards to cover and immobilize the zipper aperture, and it feels quite waterproof to me. I'll be trying this out in early spring and report back if I have any critters breaching the perimeter, but I can't imagine how they would.The other one I got is a lot more fabric-like and just no comparison with the seal or the durability of the materials.
