Zipper is not as good as it is supposed to be. It ripped while we were putting it on the mattress. Did not have to pull hard.

Received product in a reasonable time. This product was visible to anybody to see, can in the original package. The product was in good shape and usable.

I am a huge fan of the velcro around the zipper at the end, double the protection and it looks nice to boot!

Terrible product. Zipper split the minute I placed it on my mattress. A hole got torn in it as I was placing it on the mattress.

When I was searching for mattress protectors I neglected to read the product description thoroughly and as a result I ordered a vinyl mattress protector when I really wanted a cloth version but I opened the package to check it out anyway. I bought two of these mattress covers in the crib size for dog beds that are about the size of a crib mattress. I have a very old dog who is frequently incontinent. These mattess protectors arre extremely high quality, made of thick vinyl with a solid well-made zipper. The covers completely encase the bed so that there's no chance of leakage inside to the bed. I put a sheet on top, so if there's an accident all I have to do is throw the sheet in the washer and wipe of the mattress cover with Oxy-Fast spray. These covers are of a much higher quality that ones I have bought in stores. I highly recommend them and plan to buy more (we have five dog beds around the house).

I bought this for extra mattress protection for my expensive king size mattress. I have three children all under the age of 4 so anything can happen from having a little one crawl into bed in the middle of the night and having an accident to a leaking sippy cup. One of them made a spill on my bed where my waterproof protector didn't fully work so I decided to add other things to make sure it wouldn't happen again. I use this encasement then a terry lined protector then my sheets, and with all that it doesn't crinkle or shift and become noticeable in any way. I didnt feel overheated when I slept on it but it is only early spring and still quite cool so I'm not sure how the summer months will be. I aired it out in sunlight for about a day and then overnight to get the plastic smell off and it did the trick. When putting it on I didn't have much difficulty at all and I did it alone. The material was strong and seems quite durable while not uncomfortably thick, the zipper was fastened into position well and I'm not worried about it ripping around the seams of the zipper too much. I think this will make me worry less about my bed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I didn't really like the packaging it was mailed in. It was difficult to open the box and I was annoyed with the hassle. The product packaging, however, was nice in a simple plastic case with snaps. So far, I think it was money well spent.
