Trashy and Cheap like my ex girlfriend! Also broke the second time it was being used to donuts duty. Also like my ex girlfriend. I know it was only 10 bucks and I didn't expect much...... Not shaved ice, but rather crushed ice when finished. Works great for the grandkids snow cones, mixed drinks, etc.

This hand crank ice shaver worked pretty slick. For the price you can't go wrong. It did not come with any directions but it was pretty self explanatory. You just put the crank handle on, add some ice and push the spring loaded top on, twist and crank. Be careful when you put the top on as you do have to push it down and it can slip. The edges inside are very sharp. We got to enjoy some shaved ice on a hot day. Kids loved it.

Most difficult to turn handle & after five minutes of labor it yielded one teaspoon of shaved ice! Sent it back!
