The bag is strong and thick cotton. I have used it to crush my ice cubes since they are only one size from my ice maker. No complaints.

As advertised. The mallet does not have rough edges, the bag is sturdy and I've used it several times now. I wish I purchased the scoop too instead of thinking I would just pour it out. If I purchased as a gift I would definitely get a scoop too. I would recommend this set.

The canvas bag is sturdy, and the mallet is made of a reasonably hard wood that hasn't yet dented from crushing the ice from my ice maker. I can tell this kit is going to wear well over time.Protip: crush up plenty of extra ice and leave it in the bag for future use.

Do simple yet so affective. Does not take up counter space as an ice machine does. You have many options for the size of your ice cubes. Unlike a machine. I hang the canvas bag on a hook to dry until I need to use. The wood mallet is well made. Saves lots of money without the expense of a machine. No electricity needed. Just hand power. I will buy another to have on hand. The canvas bag is also quality made.

Pros: 2 of them at good price; canvas seems durable; they have corner loop for hanging for drying; bright color so easy to find in my dark barCons: a bit small - can crush about 12oz of ice or less; the flap cover is not as good of design as having more two sided material to roll up; no mallet - but that wasn't advertised as included eitherI like the hanging loops and having two of them so I can keep less water soak mess in my side bar

I had been looking for a countertop ice maker or ice crusher forever but couldn’t find one simple enough or at the right price. Then I came upon this awesome system. And it certainly works better than a plastic baggie and a hammer! So easy! Perfect crushed ice!

I had to line mine with a zip lock bag because the ice would freeze and then stick to the inside of this bag.
