This replacement has been overdue for some time. I recently replaced the tires, but I noticed the cleaner didn’t get full traction due to worn-out idler wheel. Just replaced the wheel (photos shown before and after replacement) and it fits perfect. Now, I have tight contact between the wheel and the tires, and the cleaner driving with full speed traction. Great replacement parts for Polaris pool cleaner.

I use these on my Polaris 280 and like all the parts on pool cleaners they do wear out. They need to be replaced every couple of years on my cleaner, but how long any part lasts depends on a lot of things like how long you run your cleaner every day for example. Regardless it is going to wear out and replacing it with a Polaris part is going to cost you three times or more what this part cost. All the components are included to replace this part!
