This sweep hose should be standard on the Racer. Works great on clearing out the corners and keeping bottom build up stirred up so it can be suctioned out by filtration system.I highly recommend anyone using a Racer Cleaner to get one.

ATIE makes great affordable parts for Pentair products. Saves me a lot of money and seems to be of equal quality. My Racer's tail was not longer whipping, just seemed to be old and stiff. This new one has breathed new life into my Racer.

I have to replace the tail on my Pentair Racer every year because the little tabs were out and it won't stay hooked on anymore. At 50+ a pop, it was getting old, so I thought I would take a chance on this one. Yes, it came creased and folded, but I just stuck it in the dryer for a couple minutes and it came out beautiful with no kinks! Even if I end up having to replace this hose twice a year, I will still be coming out a little ahead instead of buying the expensive pentair tail that never lasts more than a year either! Now to see how long it lasts!

Our original hose that came with the vacuum got a crack in it. Order this one and recieved the next day. Perfect fit

This sweeper tail is garbage. Completely inferior in every way to the pentair original. The main tube is thin and comes kinked (has not straitened out after days). The “wheels” or rings are really more like “C”Clips than rings. The overall result is this tail only sweeps heavily to one side and curls up around the front of the Racer getting caught up in the wheels and causing the Racer to turn, in one direction. Complete waste of money, and I bought two of these.
