It’s an Audio/Video cable. It works. Needed to extend my rear camera cable to install my dash camera touchscreen mirror. Installed camera in rear of truck. Plugged in the cord and it works just fine!!!!

The rearview cams that come with dashcams seem to the same / generic, but regardless this works perfectly my the SPADE I bought. I have an extended cargo van and the OEM cable was a few feet short. This does the trick.

I purchased 2 rear view mirror dash cams. In addition to the rear view these came with front view cameras. Normally these front view cameras are mounted in the car on the inside of the windshield. Therefore they come with only about 3ft of wire cable. My intent is to mount these cameras on the front bumper. I took a shot and ordered this cable. The connectors looked similar to mine and I was hoping to connect them to my existing cable and into the front camera port on the mirror. Unfortunately this did not happen. All the connecting points were different sizes and therefore nothing matched up.I cut the ends off of this cable, stripped the insulation off of this cable as well as cable on my front camera. Spliced them together. Problem solved.I now have a front camera mounted on my front bumper.All works perfectly.

I needed to extend the cable for my rear facing camera. My camera had the same 2.5mm male plug that goes straight into the screen on the dash. This plugged right in. No issues. Good quality. I can do I clean wire tuck install now.
