I installed this on my daughters friends car. A 16 year old Hyundai. Not the 18 year old driving it has access to backup and see their surroundings a little bit better. Great option, took less than 30 minutes to set up, I did drill one hole behind the license plate and sealed it with a waterproof sealant. I used the 12v plug to power it.

Good value for the money. Camera is crisp and clear even in fog. Easy to install. I'd say the only downside is I wish the wiring was a couple feet longer so I could mount the screen elsewhere but it works and if I could wire it up to turn on whenever I went into reverse but I like the option of the on off button.

This is a very complete back up camera kit that is super easy to install and comes with absolutely everything needed. The camera itself is very small, and mounts to your license plate with an included bracket, or there is a second smaller bracket included if you want to mount it elsewhere, even on the side of the vehicle. This comes with a nice looking small monitor that is surprisingly clear and easy to see considering it's small size, and it even has a mount for your dash. This is a really easy install, and routing the video cable between the camera and the monitor is the most difficult part, but just needs a little thought ahead of time, and some patience. As a back up camera it works great, and there is the ability to clip a green wire to reverse the image and allow it to look right if looking forward, but it does NOT support recording, so it is not really designed to be used as a dash cam. It could however be used to look forward to keep an eye on cargo, or what the kids are doing in the camper or motorhome if placed in the rear of the vehicle using this feature. If you think you may be moving it around I suggest you put some bullet connectors on the green wire after you cut it for looking forward, so that the wire could easily be reconnected for a reverse camera again. I think this is lot of product for an incredibly low price, and if you want to put a Back Up camera on a vehicle that didn't come with one, this kit simply cannot be beat. Great value. 5 Stars!
