This is a nice glass cutter. I don't use the oil tank, I dip the cutter head in the lubricating fluid. But, all in all it works well. I would purchase again.

Toyo makes a great glass cutter. We have tried others that were cheaper but they leaked oil & didn’t make as clean cuts as the Toyo cutter. They were cheaper for a reason. This is a quality cutter that lasts. It also arrived in the time specified. I recommend this cutter.

I was trying to cut glass with one of those old style cheap metal glass cutters and it was incredibly frustrating. This cutter is fantastic! Very easy to use and accurate. Do yourself the favor and spend the extra money, it is well worth it.

Have been cutting glass for over 10 years and love this cutter…so easy, you don’t have to fill with oil, just dab the blade on a bit of soaked cloth before each cut…

I owned an art glass store for many years. Finally after many years of trying to forget the clients and and being a baby sitter and therapist, I decided to cut glass for my cabinets. I have 9 sf, import glass that I have kept specificially for cabinets and I have moved this around for the last 10 years. First, however, I needed to cut a piece of float for the curio. I have my old trusty, pink Toyo. I put in the oil, tried to get it to flow, tried to cut the glass, got a nice run that shattered the float. Rather, it sheared off, even with the runners. I took it apart and of course, the wick was rotten. I have no idea where my Toyo cutter rebuilt parts are so I just bought one. It arrived the next day. While this listing did not mention it is a Tap Toyo, I got a pink Tap Toyo. All this means is, as the cutter is rolling, it is tapping itself as it goes along, further deepening your cut. When I was using my original one, omg, that screech. I knew it was a bad cut, you could see the cut clearly. You should not easily see that cut, it should have a small trail of oil.I did not need runners nor groziers for the cabinet. 2 quick clean cuts, finger breakable. The price is normal for a GOOD cutter. I sold every brand of cutter available. The Toyo Pistol Grip is the easiest to use. It fits just about everyone's hands and unlike pencil type cutters, your fingers do not ache after cutting with a pistol grip.
