It does an amazing job cutting circles and straight edges. you do have to press a bit hard to make sure the center point is staying correctly but other than that a wonderful tool!

Very poor quality plastic that is crooked and components do not slide smoothly. Poor value.

It seemed sturdy enough and the cutting wheels looked fine but when I tried to adjust the length of the strip cutter, it would not tighten against the shaft. So it never stayed where I put it. Sort of useless if you can't tighten the screw that holds it in place. I will be returning it and requesting a full refund. Defective design or poor quality control.....who knows. Just steer clear of this strip cutter.Update: tried to use it once and the head with the cutting wheel shattered. The cheap plastic literally chattered into little plastic chunks.

It bends and moves around so much that it's hard to hold the glass and operate it so my cuts were far from precise

The best Of all the cutters that I have bought including the expensive ones, I’m just started to use it and very awesome cuts. Even I bought the cheapest stained glass to practice 👌🏾👌🏾

This is awful and flimsy. I needed it in a time pinch and I thought “how awful can this be?” I thought having used others for years I could make this cheap one do its job at least.Answer: it’s awful. Where to begin?Plastic is flimsy and cannot deliver a precise cut. Plastic bows giving you different results from the cut before. Measurements are difficult to read making you do the best you have to work with and being cheap plastic will wear down with use making it even more inaccurate.I would highly not recommend buying this product as you will be frustrated, sending it back, or throwing it in the trash completely. Zero stars.

Does do a good job, but with plastic it can flex when giving pressure so sometimes your cut will bow a bit, not a lot but does bow.

This brand of strip cutter works great and actually has a printed scale on the cutter. In the picture it looks like it doesn't have one, but it's because it's not painted. We use strip cutters to cut glass all the time and we love them. They are an essential part of our stained glass art.

The strip maker is very easy to use if you have built the board to use it with. It needs to have a board with a raised wooden ledge that is squared. The strips are then uniform and perfect. The circle maker is good too, but there is no suction cup so to use it you have to be sure the machine doesn't slide. Practice on picture frame glass. Use oil on cutter wheel, and score, then turn the circle over to press at the score to start the crack, turn back over, make small cuts from circle to edge and use your running pliers to release.
