Don't bother with this. Does not work properly most of the time. I spent 15-20 mins. playing with this and just does not work. May just be a bad one. I wouldn't waste money on one though. There are plenty of working ones available.

Meh. The spring action isn't very active, so it needs more than one strike to make a decent impression into the material you are trying to mark. I've fiddled with it to see if I can increase the spring tension, but no dice. I like the red ball at the end of the punch--it provides a nice bit of purchase to the punch and better control. Perhaps mine is from a "Friday afternoon" production run. I use it, but I have had others that performed better. Good luck!

Unless you do a lot of work with soft aluminum this probably won't impress you! It is comfortable to use but it is too weak to make a good impression. I'm going to try mixing parts with another punch that I have that is stronger but less comfortable. Maybe I'll get lucky and get what I want!

It's no good broke the first time using it. The red capthreads are striped. The pointed part kept hanging. THE SPRING KEEP CRUSHING.
