Only tried it once in crappy eaves but it is quite squirrelly. The extremely stepped out conVEX bottom with rolly rails probably mean you need bigger wave. Hard to ride. Also I wanted FCS fin setup, But it came as Futures. We will see later if I like it but now, not so much. Needs an option for kid fins, the ones it comes with can cut your head off. After surfing it more I realized it needs good waves, and becomes super fun. Problem is I wanted a board for when I don’t have good shortboard waves. It’s decent.

It is little weird board. It is not easy to take off waves compared to other my long board. I have 7’6 but size also not good as my skill. Maybe short board is better. I saw some guys using this board but they also never take off waves. Price plus fast shipping is good deals, so people like to order…but be careful if you are beginner or intermediate surfer. I ordered 2 years ago this board and used few times only, my husband used some (better skill) but he also didn’t like it. I am thinking to sales. We want to take waves as mush as we can but this board is so hard.

It is a great board and I am stoked. The fins that came with it did not work for me in 3 foot waves so I bought a larger twin fins. The fin box is future fin so that helps as I have other surfboard with future fins. The board paddles well and catches waves easily. The bottom is single concave to double I believe and that generate a lot of speed. I would say this board is actually for someone who is intermediate to advance surfers. The board is ok for beginners too if you are just surfing the white water. It is very loose since it only has 2 fins.

This board is perfect if you wanna have a blast during the small summer days.I've been riding it around my house in Redondo Beach on crappy 2ft mushy close outs and it was still so much fun! This thing catches waves like a longboard, but turns just like if you were on a fish.Best small wave board, hands down.

I was a little hesitant to order a board on Amazon but when I saw that this Mini Simmons shape was available as a foamy I had to give it a try. Very impressed by how easy it is to catch waves with this board and how fast it rides. Its performance is nothing like a foamy. I showed it to my local surf shop and they were impressed too. It’s definitely a user friendly shape, which I like. I’ve been recommending it to all of my friends, most of them average surfers, to ride it as their small wave board.
