Have the Pearl 900 series Hi Hat stand. The top clutch shaft’s thicker than lower numbered series Pearl stands.Saw some after market replacements made by Gibraltar, though didn’t want to risk getting the wrong size. Works great and the wing nut design is exactly the same as the 900 series.

Works perfectly. Only clutch that has a vertical arm, which is easier to strike with stick rather than the others which causes you to strike downward causing unwanted cymbal hits.

I like this clutch! Works great.Wasn’t sure about the vertical release lever arrangement at first, but I quickly got used to it. This doesn't let go of the top hat and that's a big deal if you play extended sets. It' not a screw on system. The longer upright handle makes it easier to operate as well.
