This is what I asked my self out loud when I pulled it from the box. I love DW and PDP products. I've had a PDP drum set and stand for 25 years and still sounds great. If you play a soft and gentle music genre or are buying it for your kiddos, this is a great buy! But if you want a stable, sturdy and appropriate height adjustment for an average adult human., I would highly suggest a different option.
