Gets clogged quite easily and doesn't remove solder very well. The standard pen-type solder sucker works better.

Didn't work for me, the solder stayed in the tip and clogged it up. When I tried to get the solder out of the tip, the tip cracked down the side and wouldn't work anymore. Might be the way I was trying to use it, or what I was using it for, but I wouldn't purchase this type of desoldering tool again, or at least not a little cheap generic one. Might work alright for someone else if you know how to keep the tip from getting stopped up.

It Works great! It's not too complicated to use! LOL! Squeeze it, it sucks the molten solder into the bulb! Time will tell how it holds up!

I work on a lot of electronics equipment and I usually use various sizes of solder wick to remove components for replacement. Sometimes on bigger components, solder wick just isn't enough. I use this desoldering bulb to suck the solder off of the PC board and component and it works fine for me. It is not fancy but it works. The tip is Teflon so it can take the heat and the bulb is just large enough to create a vacuum to suck the solder into the bulb where it cools and solidifies. Every so often you have to pull the bulb off of the tip and empty out the small pieces of solder in the bulb. This is a good price for the product but the shipping seems high. This is a handy and simple product that has helped me work on a lot of electronic equipment. It works for me and gets the job done!PS It is a desoldering bulb not buld, they need to fix the spelling.

You get what you pay for. After receiving this desolderingbulb and trying to use it I found it to be useless. The plasticspout seems to fail to make a good enough seal to actuallysuck molten solder into the bulb. therefore it is useless.
