Trailer Connector 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole
You will need this dual-output 4-way flat vehicle-side to 7-way RV blade trailer wiring adapter in case you have multiple trailers with different connectors. Great setup for adding 7 pin RV connection, and also allows the 4 pin to be retained.

Both 4 way socket and 7 way connector are equipped with rubber dust cover to keep connectors clean when not in use, protect the terminals from water, dirt and corrosion.

- Yellow wire is Auxiliary wire for 12V power, reverse lights, or reverse lockout for trailer brakes
- Black wire connect to battery with fuse or breaker for 12V power source
- Blue wire connect to output wire on brake controller
- White wire connect to vehicle frame for ground

It was only a little hard to install because I needed to drill a couple of holes onto my frame to mount this and I also needed to add a break controller line to it but other than that - it was easy. Has been working great when towing my 17' fiberglass camper.

My old Z71 had the 4-pin connector, which worked for my three trailers just fine. Then I bought a tractor and needed a much larger trailer with electric brakes. This harness lets me us any of the trailers without janky adaptors. The install was quick and looks clean.

Everything works as it should. Easy instation however i feel the design was lacking in a sense but bc of that i was able to place the 4 flat in a different orientation and the quality is amazing! Note: the wire out the back are stiff and would be hard to put anywhere without a 4-5"in gape. At the rear of the plug

Installed on 99 toyota tacoma and 2012 honda odyssey. It's been a few months and so far so good. Will see how it lasts through a canadian winter here in Southern Alberta.

The flat 4 cover relies on a friction fit to stay put, but it’s not snug and although it is tethered it may be prone to popping loose and just dangling from its tether.Also the portion where the flat 4 mounts next to the 7 pin is not pre-assembled so some assembly is required assuming you want to mount it there.

Very robust. Well packaged and complete. Even included zip ties to secure wiring. Easy to install (but take your time in studying wire colors if you are splicing wires due to absence of a quick connect plug on your vehicle.) Highly recommend coating connector pins with dialectic grease as a previous plug I had (different brand) corroded.
