Everything about this kit is quality. Little things like different wire gauges on brake and ground leads, copper (not clad aluminum) wire, and multiple ports for running cables. The insulation is supple and I’m guessing will stay that way with prolonged weather exposure. Well worth the money and even better on sale.

It was nice to have the ease of installation this afforded me. It’s the first time I used a product like this. I was adding trailer brakes to a trailer that didn’t have them and this made it so easy to just connect all the wires to the terminals in the box. Every terminal was exactly what the paper diagram said it would be and all I had to do was connect the appropriate trailer wires. The big negative was the large plug wire. I have never seen or used a stiffer more miserable wire than this. When cold it is like an uncooked spaghetti noodle. Horrible. Even warm is isn’t great. It still works hence the 4 star rating. I will be using more systems like this but not likely this brand that chose to use the absolutely worst choice for wire possible. They need smacked.

Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of this product.I original bought this due it being yellow easier to see when moving (picking up the gooseneck with a loader). So you can see it and don't get it caught in between the fork and neck.I opened the box and decided to remove the electrical box cover to look inside. I immediately noticed that the wire retention was broke in two. The thin retention clamp is plastic. (Probably PVC.) I could of taken the opposite side off and moved it to the broken side. I did not do this because I have the same wire coming in from the trailer. I also did not like the material that was used for the retention. If you use the trailer on even a semioccasional use it will probably break. I boxed it back up and returned.The rest of the box was not bad. I looks to be yellow PVC. I took the observation from the texture of the wire. The wire is PVC jacketed wire it is stated on the wire. If you have ever used a PVC jacketed extension cord in the cold then you know how stiff it will be.I decided to return due to the quality of the clamps and the PVC jacketed wire.

this was well worth it- was heavy duty . we bought for horse trailer goose neck. We already did another trailer with one similar 3 yrs ago and it has held up great

It was perfect for the repair I had to make. My trailer light cable had came loose while traveling down the interstate. When I realized it, I had ground off half of the plug and ruined about 3ft. of the cable. This was perfect to splice into the original and replace the plug
