The gears work, but they are not the nicest machined quality. If your on a budget this is a great option, I have ran them for months with zero issues, but they are kinda loud even properly shimmed.

does the job ok. had to file a little surface off the socket for the shaft to slide in. other than that its well worth.

I bought the underdrive gear set. I like using underdrive when I can rather than overdrive. I usually like to have the speed that the rig is currently at and slowing down the rear axle rather than speeding up the front axle. This helps with control. The slower rear axle also helps with turning and inclines when trying to grab onto edges without having the rear push the front off. The gears seem to be holding up so far and fit fine.

Good quality gears that mesh well together. There is no loctite on the screws so I suggest putting some on. Comes with a variety of shims. I only needed 1 of the thin shims between driveshaft and pinion. Quiet gears and an easy upgrade. (24/8)

I got overdrive for my front axle to use in my SCX10-3 Basecamp Builders kit. So far its running great, I wish they were 6 bolt, but 3 bolt seems to be working fine so far. These mesh really well and comes with optional shims if you need it.

Properly set up axle custom shim pack, regularly serviced bearings, broke 3 ring gear teeth. cheap metal. Bought vanquish
